Each spotlight sponsorship custom placement includes:

A single placement
Your brand name featured as the sole sponsor in a spotlight placement location
Content customized to your goals

Spotlight Sponsorships offer a way for a sponsor to get a stand-alone placement separate from the group of multiple sponsor logos in high-traffic locations offered through our Convention Sponsorship package.

While most types of Spotlight Sponsorships are available for purchase separately from the Convention Sponsorship, we feels the prominence of Hall Activity Sponsors in the live convention experience calls for those brands to be visible both outside and inside our Discord server, so the Convention Sponsorship package is included in all Hall Activity Spotlight Sponsorships.

If you opt for a Spotlight placement other than a Hall Activity and would also like your logo included in the group of sponsors featured in our highest-traffic website and email placements, purchase a Convention Sponsorship in addition to your chosen Spotlight placement.

The confirmation page for a Spotlight Sponsorship purchase will show a form you can use to send us the info we need to create your custom placement. A link to this form is also included in your purchase confirmation email. Please submit the brand info form available via your purchase confirmation within 3 business days after checkout to help keep our workflows running smoothly.

About the Protospiel Online Community

Our Discord community includes more than 600 game designers and professionals engaged in all levels of the tabletop games industry. Our membership spans more than 15 countries and represents a wide diversity of lifestyles, cultures, and backgrounds. Games tested during Protospiel Online have gone on to be self-published, crowdfunded, and mass marketed.

Refund Policy

We aim to set up sponsorship placements within 1-3 business days of recieving the requested brand information from a sponsor. If we have not placed your logo or other brand information in any of the locations where we highlight sponsor information, you can request a full refund for your Spotlight Sponsorship up to 7 days after your purchase.

We cannot give refunds for any Spotlight Sponsorship purchases if we've added the sponsor brand information to any location where we feature our sponsors, or the refund deadline has passed.

Sponsorship Terms

These terms serve as an addendum to our general terms of service.

For the remainder of these terms, "you/your" and "sponsor" refer to customers who have purchased a Spotlight Sponsorship product from protospiel.online and "us/we/our" refer to the acting organizer team for Protospiel Online.

By purchasing a Spotlight Sponsorship you agree to the following:

If you need to update your company name, logo, or description after your initial sponsor info form submission for a convention session you're sponsoring, contact us to request the changes. As long as this request comes in before the sponsorship deadline for the event in question (Monday, January 13, 2025 @ 10pm U.S. Eastern for the January 2025 session) we'll work with you to make the needed updates.

If you request changes after the sponsorship deadline, we cannot make updates for the active convention session.

We seek to work with sponsors who uphold our core values of inclusivity, transparency, and collaboration in the tabletop games industry.

We will review Spotlight Sponsorship purchases before placing the sponsor's information on our web properties. In the event that we don't feel a sponsor is a fit for our community, we will decline to list the sponsor and issue a full refund.

If it comes to our attention that a sponsor we've placed on our web properties has taken actions that conflict with our core values, we will privately request a meeting with the sponsor to review and possibly mediate the situation. If we cannot find a resolution that's acceptable to both the sponsor and Protospiel Online, we reserve the right to cancel your sponsorship without refund and remove your information from our web properties going forward.

If, after we've placed your brand information on our web properties, you learn Protospiel Online has taken actions that conflict with your brand values, privately request a meeting with us to review the situation. If we cannot find a resolution that's acceptable to both the sponsor and Protospiel Online, we will issue you a pro-rated refund and remove your brand information from our web properties going forward.
