Welcome to the Protospiel prototype listing page!
Here, you can create a sharable listing for your prototype to help you drum up interest before the event.
If you’d like to look at some finished posts in our prototype directory to help you get a feel for how to expect your listing to turn out, you can do that here.
You can also watch this video to see how all the prototype directory browse features work in action and how the things you enter in this form will display.
Which are the most important parts to fill out?
Fields set to “Required” are important for playtesters’ ability to browse prototype listings and discover the games they’ll be most interested to play.
The majority of fields set to “Recommended” are important for publishers’ ability to browse the listing before, during, and possibly even after the Protospiel weekend at which you present the game.
The remaining fields are set to “Optional.” These are there to help you create a professional, modern webpage for your game—one that’s equipped with built-in social sharing features and search engine optimization best practices. You can be as simple or as detailed as you’d like.
Will I be able to update this later?
At this time, it’s not possible to edit your prototype after posting it, so make sure you have all the info you want to include ready to add before submitting this form. (Prototype editing is a future we are currently working on developing.)
Before submitting, you can save your progress any time by clicking the “Save and Continue Later” link at the bottom of this page next to the Submit button.
You must be logged in to access the prototype listing form.
