Description

A gift exchange (AKA White Elephant AKA Yankee Swap AKA Dirty Santa) is a gift-giving game where the object is to walk away with your favorite gift. Each player adds one gift to the pile, and each goes away with one gift.

There are many variations on the gift swapping rules. We’ll host the version that works best for you and your guests—per your choices in a questionnaire you’ll receive after booking.

We’ll run this online gift exchange for groups of 4-24 by sharing a customized Google Jamboard during a call in the video meeting tool of your choice.

How to Book

Want us to run the show for you?  Great!  Here’s How:

Step 1: Purchase

  • Check for an available time in our scheduling tool.
  • To check with your group for a good time before booking, When to Meet or a free TidyCal account both offer great ways to share date polls.
  • If we have an open time that works for you and your group, purchase this package through the “ADD TO CART” button above.

Step 2: Choose Your Event Details

  • Immediately after checkout, our scheduling tool will open where you can book a time from among those available.
  • After finalizing your booking time, you’ll receive an email with your booking ID and our setup questionnaire.
  • Use your booking ID in the questionnaire to share your ideal gift exchange setup with us.

Step 3: Invite Your Guests

  • When you’ve submitted your questionnaire, we’ll send you a content template filled in with all the event details.
  • You’ll copy, paste, and adjust as needed to send your guests their invite messages.
  • The template will let your guests know the only prep needed is to bring some paper and a writing utensil.

Step 4: Party time!

  • Someone from the Protospiel Online team will attend your gift exchange and share a link to a Google Jamboard as an interactive visual aid.
  • You and your guests will spend a few minutes at the beginning choosing the gifts you’ll give and writing them on slips of paper.
  • In a turn order chosen by a few live spins on the Wheel of Names, each participant will choose which gift to open (or steal)!

Step 5: Gift Delivery

  • Before we say goodbye, you and your guests will collect contact info from the person holding your gift at the end.
  • After the call, you and your guests will each send your gifts to thier recipients.
