Newsletter Writers - Protospiel Online

Protospiel Online is committed to creating a welcoming environment for designers and playtesters of all backgrounds.

We publish a community newsletter 2-3times per month in order to keep the community connected and up to date. We highlight project milestones both large and small, companies, and people in our community.

Truly great newsletter writers will have a genuine interest in supporting tabletop designers and a desire to cheer any and all members of our community on.

We are accepting applications for newsletter writer positions. We particularly encourage BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, women, and those living outside of North America time zones to apply.

Role Responsibilities

Coordinate with organizers and other newsletter team members in the Discord #newsletter-writer and #team-po-general group chat
Write 1 or more newsletter issues per quarter
Receive and complete newsletter-related tasks by due dates in Asana, PO’s web-based project management tool
Use Google Sheets, Docs, and Drive for content planning, editing, and publication
Craft email subject lines using content marketing templates and formulas
Compose feature thumbnails with Adobe Photoshop or Affinity Photo using a template
Build newsletter content in PO’s web-based email service provider software, ConvertKit
Read Protospiel Online’s Stance on Generative AI
