Requires: Have worked w/ 1+ designers to publish 1+ games & give playtest feedback at the event as an industry insider

Badge scholarships fund badges for attendees who could not otherwise afford to attend.  If you choose the +Scholarship option, as a thank you, we'll list you on our Sponsors page.

If the cost of a single badge is not in your budget, please don't hesitate to apply for a Badge Scholarship.  Thanks to our many generous sponsors, we are continually accepting applications. We don't ask for sensitive financial info, and we don't publicly share the names of our recipients.

Badge Refund Policy

You can request a full refund for your Protospiel Online badge through midnight EST on the Thursday immediately before the event your badge grants access to.

In place of a refund, you may also choose to transfer your badge to an upcoming quarterly event, transfer your badge to a friend, or pass the cost of your badge on to one of our featured charities.

We cannot give refunds for any Protospiel Online badges after the refund deadline.

For example, if you purchased a badge for Protospiel Online January 2021 (January 8-10, 2021) we would grant any refund request you submit on or before Thursday, January 7 at midnight EST. If you submit a refund request for this badge January 8, 2021 or later, we would not grant the refund.

Buying Multiple Badges

If you would like to purchase a badge for one or more other attendees, you have a few options.

Gift Certificate

You can purchase a gift certificate for each additional badge you want to purchase and email it directly to the recipient as part of the gift certificate checkout process.

Each recipient can use the gift certificate to buy their badge for themselves, which gives them easy access to enter their own details into our registration system and join the Discord server under their chosen account.

Buying a gift certificate will cover a dollar amount you’ll choose from a list of options. It will NOT apply to a specific event, badge type, or lock in a specific badge price.  If you choose this option, you’ll need to keep an eye on discount pricing deadlines and make sure the recipient uses the gift certificate in the right pricing window.

Coupon Codes

If you aren’t sure the additional badge recipient(s) will be able to use their gift certificate in the right pricing window, you can buy multiple badges at once, then send us a message through our contact form to request single-use coupon codes to share with the other badge recipients.

The coupon code(s) will allow the other recipients to add a badge to their cart and zero out the cost at checkout.  Upon checkout, they’ll get access to the badge registration form, which will allow them to select the Discord account they want to use and get themselves added to the event’s Discord server.
